Whether it be Coachella, Gov Ball, Bonnaroo, Elements or Ultra it’s exciting to figure out what to wear to a music festival. I love going to music festivals. It’s such a fun weekend activity. I once went to Camp Bisco in upstate New York and camped for a few days. This was back in college, and my friends and I did a road trip all the way up there from D.C. Maybe one day I’ll make it to Burning Man, but that seems a little intense. Still, something that I think would be a cool experience, and I’m all about trying something new!
Music brings such good energy, and I love getting ready, dressing up and going with friends. It’s an excuse to be extra with all the glitter and bring out your rocker girl style. I’ve been known to whip out hair extensions, crop tops, flower crowns, tie-dye bodysuits you name it! When figuring out what to wear to a music festival don’t be shy! It’s a time to stand out!
What I’m Wearing
I love the new Wacoal black lace bodysuit. It has an open back and low cut neckline perfect for those hot festival days. The plunging neckline is also a perfect excuse to wear a long lariat necklace to emphasize the cut. As my mom always says it’s all about the leading lines and she’s an artist! She says it’s all about composition. I guess an outfit is kind of the same. It’s all about proportions right?!
High waisted distressed jeans are a perfect match to wear back to a bodysuit. I found these Levi jeans at Kohl’s on sale! Shop them now before they sell out! I love a good deal, don’t you?
Inspiration
My outfit is inspired by western rock hence the western belt and torn jeans. When styling your outfit don’t forget to accessorize! It really makes any outfit looked pulled together, and a little extra special. It’s the small things that make a difference right?
What’s Next?
What music festivals are you planning on going to? Any ones that I should consider? Hoping my outfit serves as inspiration for your next music festival when you’re figuring out what to wear to your next music festival!
