I’m guessing you’re interested in at-home workouts! Most people that I know live a sedentary lifestyle. Therefore, we’re either sitting at our desks all day, or couch potatoes right? Maybe not if you live in a big city and walk around everywhere you go. For suburban or rural folks you most likely drive everywhere.
Given the current global climate…I’m talking about he who shall not be named…”Coronavirus”! Shhhh!
Just in case you’re living under a rock, there’s a global pandemic happening RIGHT NOW. So a lot of people are quarantined and staying home. Even more reason to try these quick at-home workouts!
They’re for everyone, so you don’t have to be a self proclaimed yogi, or athlete you can just have the desire to be healthy. In which case I highly recommend you try these at-home workouts out for yourself. Carve out 20 minutes of you day to dedicate to YOU and YOUR health. That’s pretty important.
What’s 20 minutes anyway?! You’d easily spend that scrolling through Instagram, so do yourselves a favor and roll out a yoga mat and try these at-home workouts!
5 At-Home Workouts
1. 4 exercises, 60 seconds rest after completion of full circuit
X5
• 60 mountain climbers
• 10 burpees
• 5 down dog push-ups
• 20 backward lunges (works the glutes)
2. 40 seconds work, 20 seconds rest between each exercise
X3
•Single leg plank
• Push-ups
• Pull ups
• Burpees
• Face up leg splits
• Single leg bridge
• Tricep ext.
• High knees
3. 2 exercises, 30 seconds rest after each exercise
X15
• 15 second mountain climbers
• 12 jump squats
4. 1 exercises, 30 seconds rest
X12-15
• 30 second jump rope
5. 5 exercises, 60 second rest after completion
X3-5
• Jumping squats (x20)
• Football run drop downs (shuffle 10 counts, hit the floor) x10
• High knees (x50)
• Burpees (x10)
• Jumping jacks (50)
